Kenali Perbedaan Probiotik dan Prebiotik, Terkesan Sama Padahal Beda

  • Bisa dibilang Probiotik ini adalah bakteri baik yang ada di dalam makanan atau minuman.
  • Sedangkan prebiotik adalah penunjang bakteri probiotik.

SKOR.id - Probiotik dan Prebiotik kerap dianggap sama. Padahal dua kandungan itu memiliki makna yang berbeda.

Kita kerap membaca adanya kandungan probiotik atau prebiotik di dalam makanan yang kita konsumsi.

Meski terkesan sama, tapi ternyata dua kandungan ini berbeda satu sama lain.

Seperti dilansir dari Alodokter, Probiotik merupakan bakteri yang bermanfaat unuk kesehatan, terutama bagi pencernaan.

Bisa dibilang Probiotik ini adalah bakteri baik yang ada di dalam makanan atau minuman.

Salah satu contoh dari bakteri probiotik adalah Lactobacillus.

Probiotik biasanya terkandung di dalam Yoghurt, Kefir, dan Kombucha.

Probiotik tak hanya berfungsi sebagai pelengkap di dalam makanan, tetapii mereka juga berfungsi sebagai obat untuk pencernaan.

Sedangkan prebiotik adalah makanan yang berfungi sebagai asupan untuk bakteri baik dalam tubuh supaya jumlahnya tetap terjaga.

Contoh dari prebiotik adalah fructooligosacharides (FOS) dan inulin.

Kita bisa menemui zat-zat tersbeut di dalam makanan bahan makanan seperti asparagus, bawang putih, dan bawang bombai.

Pada dasarnya baik probiotik maupun prebiotik bermanfaat bagi kesehatan pencernaan.

Mereka bisa mengatasi gangguan pencernaan, seperti diare. Kemudian juga mengurangi gejala radang usus.

Selain itu, juga bisa mencegah alergi dan mengatasi penyakit kulit.
