Melansir dari today.com, atlet biasanya berendam di air dengan es batu selama 10-15 menit setelah melakoni aktivitas tingkat tinggi.

Meskipun demikian, tak semua orang cocok dengan treatment seperti ini.

Misalnya, seseorang dengan penyakit ginjal harus mendapat pengawasan dari dokter ketika akan melakukan mandi es batu.

Oleh karena itu, tidak semua orang diperbolehkan berendam dalam air es batu tanpa pengawasan yang benar.
