Untuk diketahui, daging kambing termasuk golongan daging merah yang memiliki kandungan zat besi hingga protein.

Jadi, mengkonsumsi daging kambing akan bagus untuk tubuh. Dengan catatan, tidak terlalu berlebihan karena berisiko.

Berikut 5 dampak mengonsumsi daging kambing berlebihan:

1. Penyempitan pembuluh darah dalam otak

Daging merah, jika dikonsumsi berlebihan, berpotensi meningkatkan kadar kolesterol dalam darah.

Dan, kadar kolesterol dalam darah yang tinggi bisa menyebabkan penyempitan pembuluh darah dalam otak.

Dampak yang ditimbulkan adalah seseorang bisa menjadi pelupa dan kesulitan dalam mengambil keputusan.

2. Gagal Ginjal 

Bahaya lain dari memakan daging kambing secara berlebihan adalah meningkatkan risiko gagal ginjal.

Sebuah penelitian di Singapura menyebutkan 25 persen responden berisiko gagal ginjal karena konsumsi daging merah.

3. Jantung

Makan daging kambing secara berlebihan dapat meningkatkan risiko penyakit jantung.

Sejumlah penelitian menyebutkan, lelaki yang mengkonsumsi daging merah lebih dari 75 g per hari memiliki risiko tersebut.

4. Sembelit

Meski daging kambing kaya akan protein. Namun, jika berlebihan, menyebabkan pencernaan kurang baik atau sembelit.

Ini karena daging kambing termasuk jenis makanan yang membutuhkan kerja ekstra bagi usus untuk mengeluarkannya.

5. Kanker

Bahaya daging kambing yang perlu kamu tahu jika terlalu banyak mengkonsumsi yakni berpotensi terkena kanker.

Informasi ini sudah disampaikan WHO bahwa daging kambing bersifat karsinogenik, yang artinya meningkatkan risiko kanker.
