4 Kebiasaan yang Kerap Disepelekan, Padahal Bisa Menyebabkan Batu Ginjal

Hal ini bisa terjadi karena dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, termasuk di antaranya karena kebiasaan yang kerap dianggap sepele.

Untuk itu, penting bagi Skorer untuk mengetahui kebiasaan yang kerap disepelekan yang bisa menjadi penyebab batu ginjal.

Berikut ini setidaknya ada empat kebiasaan yang sering diremehkan, padahal bisa menimbulkan batu ginjal, dikutip dari Alodokter:

1. Kurang Minum

Kekurangan cairan atau dehidrasi dapat membuat urine menjadi pekat. Akhirnya, tidak ada cukup air untuk melarutkan mineral dalam urine dan mineral pun mengkristal jadi batu ginjal.

Untuk mengurangi risiko terkena batu ginjal karena dehidrasi, Skorer disarankan untuk minum air putih sebanyak 8 gelas atau 2 liter dalam sehari.

2. Mengonsumsi Makanan Tinggi Garam Berlebihan

Saat tubuh kelebihan garam, jumlah kalsium yang harus disaring oleh ginjal akan meningkat.

Jika berikatan dengan limbah darah yang lain, kalsium dapat mengkristal dan membentuk batu ginjal.

Ada baiknya Skorer membatasi atau mengurangi konsumsi makanan yang tingi garam, seperti camilan bercita rasa asin, makanan kaleng, daging kemasan, dan makanan olahan.

3. Terlalu Banyak Mengonsumsi Protein Hewani

Makanan tinggi protein hewani dapat meningkatkan kadar asam urat dan dapat menyebabkan batu ginjal.

Diet tinggi protein juga dapat mengurangi kadar sitrat, yaitu zat kimia dalam urine yang membantu mencegah pembentukkan batu ginjal.

4. Mengonsumsi Makanan yang Mengandung Oksalat Berlebihan

Makanan yang mengandung oksalat contohnya buah bit, cokelat, bayam, dan kacang-kacangan, juga dapat menyebabkan batu ginjal jika dikonsumsi secara berlebihan.

Skorer disarankan untuk mengonsumsi makanan tinggi oksalat bersamaan dengan makanan yang tinggi kalsium, seraya keju atau susu.
