Dewi Hughes merupakan artis lawas yang pernah booming di akhir tahun 90-an hingga awal 2000-an.

Selebriti berusia 50 tahun itu diketahui menjalani diet kenyang hingga bisa turun berat badan sampai 90 kg.

Mulanya, Dewi Hughes memiliki berat badan yang mencapai 150 kg. Namun hanya dalam 15 bulan, berat badannya turun darastis menjadi 60 kg saja.

Menururt Dewi, metode diet kenyang ini adalah menjalani program diet tanpa perlu merasa kelaparan.

Bahkan pelaku dietnya dianjurkan untuk terus makan dan tidak boleh membiarkan perut terasa keroncongan.

Dewi Hughes mengatakan bahwa dirinya mengonsumsi makanan setiap dua jam sekali agar tidak pernah merasa kelaparan. Itu kenapa dinamakan diet kenyang. 

"Nama dietnya saja diet kenyang karena perut harus kenyang terus. Bagaimana caranya saya bisa diet tapi hati saya selalu bahagia," kata Dewi Hughes saat menghadiri program talkshow di Trans7.

Meski demikian ada hal yang perlu digaris bawahi bahkan makanan yang dikonsumsi untuk menyukseskan diet ini tidaklah sembarangan.

Anda diharuskan mengonsumsi makanan yang tidak mengandung garam, gula, dan minyak.

“Makanan yang saya makan tanpa garam, tanpa gula, tanpa minyak, enggak digoreng. Tanpa tepung, nggak makan nasi,” ujar Dewi Hughes kala itu.
