Selain itu terkadang di dalam sayuran juga terkandung protein yang baik bagi tubuh.

Angka kecukupan protein adalah 0,8 gram untuk setiap kilogram berat badan.

Dilansir dari Hellosehat berikut ini adalah 5 sayuran yang memiliki kandungan protein tinggi, yang baik untuk dikonsumsi.

1. Kacang Polong

Dalam satu cangkir/cup kacang polong, ada kandungan protein sebesar 9 gram.

Selain itu juga terdapat vitamin, A, B, C, zat besi, dan folat yang mengurangi risiko pentakit kardiovaskuler.

2. Brokoli

Brokoli dapat memberikan asupan 2,8 gram protein dalam setiap takaran cangkir.

Kandungan lain yang terdapat dalam brokoli adalah vitamin C dan K yang mengurangi risiko kanker.

3. Jagung manis

Dalam setiap 100 gram jagung manis, terdapat kandungan protein sebesar 3,3 gram.

Sementara itu dalam satu bonggol jagung terdapat kandungan protein sebesar 4,68 gram.

4. Kentang

Selain memiliki kandungan protein, kendang juga memiliki kandungan vitamin C dan B6 di dalamnya.

Terdapat kandungan protein sebesar 5 gram dalam setiap kentang berukuran sedang dengan kulitnya.

5. Kacang lentil

Kacang lentil merupakan salah satu sumber protein yang besar.

Dalam setiap cangkir kacang lentil yang sudah matang, terdapat kandungan protein sebesar 18 gram dan asupak kalori sebesar 230 kalori.

Kacang lentil juga mengandung serat dan mineral seperti fosfor, zat besi, folat, dan thiamin.
