Pebasket Senior Louvre Dewa United Ini Berikan Tips Jaga Kebugaran

SKOR.id - Pebasket Louvre Dewa United Surabaya, Wendha Wijaya, memang sudah tidak lagi muda. Namun, performanya tidak bisa dipandang sebelah mata.

Pada 15 Desember 2020, Wendha Wijaya genap berusia 38 tahun. Artinya, dua tahun lagi dia bakal resmi berkepala empat.

Akan tetapi, Wendha Wijaya seperti mempunyai kelebihan sebagai atlet profesional basket Indonesia yang fisiknya tidak pernah mengendur.

Pada Indonesia Basketball League (IBL) 2020, Wendha bahkan masih rutin turun ke lapangan dan memiliki catatan bermain 18,2 menit per gim.

Pemain yang sepanjang kariernya sudah memperkuat berbagai tim ini pun mengaku kerap menjalani latihan tambahan untuk menjaga kebugarannya agar tetap maksimal.

“Yang pasti, saat ini saya mengikuti program latihan dari pelatih setiap hari di track, lapangan bola, fitness, dan lapangan basket."

"Jika kurang, saya akan menambah porsi latihan itu dengan gym dan berenang,” ujar Wendha dilansir dari IBL.

Selain latihan, Wendha menyebut istirahat teratur juga memegang peran penting dalam upayanya menjaga kebugaran.

“Menurut saya, latihan itu tidak hanya di lapangan. Istirahat itu juga penting,” ucap Wendha. 

Setiap hari, Wendha Wijaya mengaku sudah harus tidur jam sembilan malam untuk kemudian bisa bangun pagi.

Setelah menjalani sesi latihan pagi, pemain kelahiran Kediri itu bisa mendapatkan waktu istirahat dengan tidur siang selama dua jam.

Selain rutin berlatih dan istirahat terukur, asupan makanan juga diakui sebagai kunci bagi Wendha Wijaya menjaga kebugaran.

“Untuk asupan makanan juga harus sehat dan bergizi, ditambah mutivitamin,” ujar Wendha Wijaya.
