SKOR.id - Serena Williams, petenis Amerika Serikat, memiliki kiat tersendiri untuk tetap produktif menjalani rutinitas sebagai atlet, pebisnis, hingga seorang ibu.

Memiliki segudang kesibukan membuat ibu dari Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr ini harus pandai-pandai membagi waktu setiap harinya.

Namun, tak bisa dipungkiri bahwa rasa lelah hingga jenuh menjadi momok yang membuat sang petenis bisa kehilangan produktivitasnya dalam sehari.

Untuk menghindari hal tersebut, Williams mengaku memiliki dua tips yang rutin dia lakoni untuk tetap menjaga mood dalam beraktivitas.

"Satu hal yang selalu saya lakukan setiap hari adalah mengosongkan pikiran," ucap pemilik 23 gelar grand slam tersebut kepada CNBC.

"Memang terkesan aneh. Namun, karena kesibukan saya banyak, mulai dari tenis hingga bisnis, jadi saya butuh mengistirahatkan otak dan sesaat tidak memikirkan apapun."

Salah satu cara terampuh yang dilakukan Williams untuk "lari dari rutinitas" adalah dengan bermain bersama sang putri tercinta.

Bagi Williams, bermain dengan Olympia dapat mengalihkan fokusnya sejenak dan hanya fokus mengasuh anak tanpa memikirkan kegiatan apapun.

"Kadang saya justru secara sengaja menghabiskan waktu dengannya karena saya tahu saya butuh untuk istirahat," katanya bercerita.

"Terkadang saya juga meditasi. Kadang juga menonton program televisi yang lucu atau konyol."

Selain mengistirahatkan otak, Williams juga memastikan tubuhnya tetap terhidrasi dengan mengonsumsi air mineral yang cukup.

Pasalnya, kondisi dehidrasi hanya akan membuatnya semakin tidak produktif karena kekurangan cairan dalam tubuh.

Dalam sehari, petenis 39 tahun tersebut mengaku menghabiskan segalon air mineral, termasuk ketika latihan. "Itu yang selalu saya lakukan setiap hari," ucap Williams menegaskan.

Sebagai catatan, konsumsi air mineral setiap orang berbeda-beda tergantung dengan aktivitas kesehariannya. Sehingga konsumsi air putih Serena Williams sebagai atlet tentu berbeda dengan non-olahragawan.
