Evan Dimas Dipaksa Melampaui Batas Kemampuan Saat Berlatih di Pusat Kebugaran

SKOR.id – Sejumlah pemain timnas Indonesia mendapat tempaan keras dari jajaran pelatih saat menjalani pemusatan latihan atau training center (TC) di Dubai, Uni Emirat Arab.

Salah satu materi latihan yang diberikan ialah angkat beban dan menarik beban. Aktivitas ini dipandu langsung oleh pelatih fisik timnas Indonesia, Lee Jae-hong.

Para pemain pun berupaya keras untuk melahap sesi latihan yang berlangsung di fitness center Jebel Ali Resorts dan Hotels itu,

Bahkan, beberapa di antaranya merasa kewalahan saat menjalani aktivitas ini. Salah satunya yakni gelandang timnas Indonesia, Evan Dimas.

Evan mengakui, sesi latihan angkat dan tarik beban ini sangat menguras energi. Bahkan, ia harus berupaya melampaui batas kemampuannya saat latihan tersebut.

 

"Sesi pertama masih ringan. Sementara yang kedua dan ketiga mulai terasa berat," ujar Evan Dimas dikutip dari laman resmi PSSI.

"Saya berusaha mengatasi keterbatasan diri dengan mengerahkan semua tenaga serta kemampuan saya untuk bisa menarik dan mengangkat beban tersebut," ia melanjutkan.

Upaya keras yang dilakukan skuad Merah Putih turut mendapatkan apresiasi dari Lee Jae-hong.

Pelatih fisik berusia 38 tahun itu mengakui bahwa seluruh pemain memperlihatkan keseriusan saat berlatih.

"Meski mereka kelelahan, tapi saya mengapresiasi usaha dari mereka untuk bisa menuntaskan tugas yang diberikan," ujar Lee.

"Ini baru awal. Ada beberapa pemain yang bisa melakukannya dengan baik dan usaha terus untuk menembus batas-batas kemampuan diri mereka," ia menambahkan.

Saat menjalani sesi latihan di pusat kebugaran ini, skuad timnas Indonesia dibagi menjadi dua grup.

Masing-masing pemain menjalani tiga sesi. Pertama, tiga sesi untuk pull up dan tiga sesi pull down. Rencananya, sesi latihan serupa masih akan berlangsung selama beberapa hari ke depan.

"Rencananya begitu. Saya harapkan mereka bisa terus mencapai kemampuan maksimal. Karena, saya melihat adanya potensi dari para pemain," ujarnya.
