Namun, hanya dalam hitungan bulan, Tyson Fury kembali ke tubuh proporsional demi menyambut duel kontra Deontay Wilder, 9 Oktober 2021.

Usut punya usut, Tyson Fury merekrut ahli nutrisi bernama George Lockhart untuk mengatur pola dietnya khusus jelang pertandingan.

Dengan intensitas latihan yang tinggi, petinju asal Inggris tersebut kabarnya membutuhkan setidaknya 4.500 kalori per hari.

Tak heran jika menu diet Tyson Fury sangat beragam, demi menjaga berat badan sekaligus kebugaran sang atlet jelang duel.

Sarapan: 08.00 pagi

  • Greek Yogurt
  • Buah-buahan

Pre-Olahraga

Shake atau minuman campuran dengan takaran 4.000 miligram beta-alanine dan 200 miligram kafein.

Saat Olahraga

Asam Amino Esensial (BCAA) dengan creatine dan sedikit gula saat latihan ekstra.

Setelah Olahraga

Shake protein, suplemen dextrose atau gula sederhana dari jagung.

Makan Siang Pertama: 11.00 siang

Kare pedas atau makanan pedas lain.

Makan Siang Kedua: 14.00 siang

  • Satu porsi makanan laut
  • Satu porsi daging merah atau ayam

Sebelum Makan Malam

Tyson Fury mengisi waktu setelah makan siang dengan latihan hingga mengonsumsi shake atau minuman sebelum, saat, dan setelah olahraga.

Makan Malam Pertama: 18.00 malam

  • Ayam Vindaloo (sejenis semur ayam) dengan kunyit
  • Satu porsi nasi putih

Makan Malam Kedua: 21.00 malam
