Bahaya di Balik Mengonsumi Kol Goreng

  • Meski rasanya lezat, mengonsumsi kol goreng dapat menimbulkan setidaknya tiga dampak negatif untuk kesehatan.

Salah satu menu yang wajib ada saat mengonsumsi pecel lele adalah kol goreng.

Kehadiran kol goreng dapat melengkapi rasa dari seporsi ayam goreng atau lauk lainnya.

Meski kol goreng mempunyai rasa yang lezat, namun akan menimbulkan berbagai masalah kesehatan jika terlalu banyak mengonsumsinya.

Salah satu yang akan terjadi jika terlalu banyak mengonsumsi kol goreng adalah menambah jumlah kalori.

Kol goreng memiliki ekstra kalori dari minyak goreng.

Satu sendok makan minyak goreng memberikan kurang lebih 45 kalori, sedangkan setengah bonggol kol mentah seberat 100 gram mengandung 22 kalori.

Jika memakan banyak kol goreng dalam waktu yang bersamaan maka bisa menambah kalori yang bisa meningkatkan risiko obesitas dan penyakit lainnya.

Kedua, meningkatkan risiko penyakit jantung dan stroke.

Lemak jahat yang ada dalam kol goreng dapat meningkatkan kolesterol jahat dan memicu pembentukan plak pada pembuluh darah.

Setelah itu plak menghambat aliran darah sehingga mengakibatkan stroke, penyakit jantung atau bahkan serangan jantung.

Memakan kol goreng secara berlebihan juga akan meningkatkan risiko kanker.

Sulphoraphane adalah salah satu senyawa antikanker yang ada dalam kol.

Senyawa ini berfungsi untuk menghambat enzim histone deacetylase yang berperan untuk mencegah perkembangan berbagai jenis kanker.

Dengan adanya proses penggorengan pada kol justru akan memicu pembentukan acrylamide yang akan menyebabkan kanker.

Sebenarnya kol sangat kaya akan nutrisi, serat, vitamin C, vitamin B kompleks, vitamin K dan mineral seperti kalsium dan fosfor.

Sayangnya proses menggoreng dengan suhu tinggi dapat merusak nutrisi yang sudah ada dalam kol.
