Ada berbagai macam cara untuk memperkuat tulang kita, salah satunya adalah dengan giat berolahraga.

Selain itu, memperkuat tulang ternyata juga dapat dilakukan dengan mengonsumsi makanan dan minuman tertentu.

Melansir dari laman mensjournal.com, berikut ini adalah lima makanan minuman yang dapat membantu memperkuat tulang:

1. Susu

Secangkir susu dapat memenuhi 30 persen dan 25 persen vitamin D dari jumlah kalsium harian yang direkomendasikan. Dua nutrisi itu berperan khusus untuk memperkuat tulang.

2. Ikan

Sejumlah jenis ikan seperti sarden dan tuna mengandung kalsium dan juga vitamin D yang berguna untuk memperkuat tulang.

Selain itu, ikan-ikan tersebut juga memiliki kandungan omega 3 yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan jantung.

3. Kacang Almond

Magnesium berperan penting dalam membangun tulang yang kuat dan sehat. Nutrisi ini dapat ditemukan dalam beberapa jenis kacang seperti kacang almond.

Satu ons kacang almond saja dapat memenuhi 19 persen dari jumlah harian magnesium yang direkomendasikan. Selain itu almond juga memiliki kandungan kalsium.

4. Tahu

Tahu mengandung kalsium sulfat yang dapat menyediakan sekitar 15 persen dari jumlah kalsium yang direkomendasikan setiap hari.

5. Tomat

Selain nutrisi-nutrisi di atas, terdapat kandungan kalium yang juga bermanfaat untuk menjaga kesehatan tulang. Satu buah tomat dapat memenuhi 10 persen kebutuhan kalium dalam tubuh.
