1. Berat Badan Naik

2. Gula dan Lemak Jahat yang Tersembunyi

Rasa selai kacang yang gurih ternyata menyimpan kandungan gula dan lemak trans yang jahat dalam setiap kemasan yang dijual di pasaran.

Marysa Cardwell, terapis nutrisi dan ahli di aplikasi Lose It!, memberi saran agar memilih produk yang sedikit asin dan jangan beli selai kacang yang memiliki lebih dari tiga jenis bahan baku.

3. Meningkatkan Kadar Gula

Dilansir dari Eatthis, dokter Maya Feller menyebut bahwa selai kacang mengandung lemak polyunsaturated dan monounsaturated yang meningkatkan kadar gula darah.

Dalam sebuah eksperimen tahun 2018 juga ditemukan bahwa mengonsumsi selai kacang berlebihan meningkatkan risiko diabetes tipe 2 yang artinya kadar insulin melebihi normal.

4. Berpeluang Menelan Zat Pemicu Kanker

Olahan kacang berpeluang mengandung zat pemicu kanker hati dan ginjal yang disebut dengan aflatoxin.

Aflatoxin diproduksi oleh jamur yang mengontaminasi tanaman pertanian termasuk kacang-kacangan.

Meskipun demikian, mengonsumsi selai kacang dengan jumlah wajar sangat baik untuk meningkatkan mood serta proses pemompaan darah ke jantung.

Karena pada dasarnya mengonsumsi makanan apapun secara berlebihan, walaupun produk tersebut sangat bernutrisi, pasti akan menimbulkan efek samping bagi tubuh.
