Mengonsumsi obat-obatan secara terus-menerus tanpa panduan dapat mengurangi khasiat dari obat tersebut.

2. Kecanduan atau Ketergantungan

Mengonsumsi obat secara "brutal" akan menimbulkan efek kecanduan atau ketergantungan.

Biasanya, seseorang akan langsung memutuskan untuk mengonsumsi obat meskipun sakit yang dirasakan tidak terlalu parah.

3. Keracunan

Keracunan bisa diakibatkan dari mengonsumsi obat-obatan tidak sesuai aturan pakai atau anjuran dari dokter.

4. Proses Diagnosis Menjadi Lambat

Proses diagnosis terhadap sebuah penyakit bisa menjadi lebih lambat karena ada interaksi obat-obatan lain yang dikonsumsi di luar anjuran.

5. Kebal dari Antibiotik

Mengonsumsi antibiotik secara berlebihan dapat menyebabkan efek dari antibiotik tersebut tidak lagi berdampak ke dalam tubuh.
