SKOR.id – Pebasket andalan Tim Nasional (Timnas) Indonesia Andakara Prastawa memiliki cara agar kuat berpuasa seharian penuh.

Menurut sosok pemain yang berposisi sebagai point guard ini, konsumsi air putih saat sahur adalah kuncinya.

Andakara Prastawa, yang juga putra dari pelatih kawakan Rastafari Horongbala, menjelaskan hal itu akan membuat orang tetap segar meski tidak makan dan minum lebih dari 12 jam.

Dengan cara mengonsumsi air putih yang cukup saat sahur, kata Andakara Prastawa, dirinya bisa tetap berlatih walau sedang menahan lapar dan dahaga seharian.

“Konsumsi air putih yang banyak ketika sahur jelas sangat penting dan itu merupakan kuncinya,” ujar Andakara Prastawa.

“Sebab, saat beraktivitas seharian, tubuh membutuhkan cairan. Masalah itu akan tertangani jika tubuh kita punya air yang cukup,” pebasket 27 tahun itu mengungkapkan.

Selain air putih, konsumsi vitamin, kata Prastawa juga sangat membantu orang-orang yang sedang menjalankan ibadah puasa. Karena dengan demikian, stamina akan terjaga.

Menurut Prastawa, hanya itulah hal yang perlu dilakukan agar kondisi tubuh tetap fit. Tidak ada aktivitas khusus lain yang harus dilakukan seseorang untuk kuat berpuasa.

“Selain minum saat sahur dan konsumsi vitamin, semuanya berjalan normal saja, seperti biasa,” kata Andakara Prastawa.

“Intinya, jika rutin melakukan hal demikian, puasa seseorang akan terjaga,” ucap atlet yang juga pemain Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta itu.

Prastawa pun memastikan, latihannya sama sekali tak terganggu meskipun tengah menjalankan ibadah puasa.

Namun, sang pemain mengungkapkan bahwa selama Ramadan, dirinya baru memulai latihan pada sore hari, jelang waktu berbuka puasa.

“Saat menjalani ibadah puasa, porsi latihannya pasti disesuaikan. Pelatih juga sudah tahu bagaimana kondisi pemain,” kata pebasket yang dikenal punya tembakan jitu tersebut.

Prastawa yang pernah memperkuat Aspac Jakarta (kini Stapac) itu kemungkinan akan kembali membela Timnas Indonesia pada window 2 Kualifikasi Piala FIBA Asia 2021, November mendatang.

Adapun, pada window 1 Februari lalu, Andakara Prastawa bermain gemilang saat menghadapi Filipina di Mahaka Arena, Kelapa Gading, Jakarta.

Saat itu, ia sukses menceploskan 28 poin dan melakukan enam rebound.
